When it came to dining options, the bar meal choices skimped a bit more than I'd prefer. To add a final touch, I found the hot breakfast items lukewarm on the hotplates, which isn’t ideal for kick-starting the day. Little things like more light in the room could make a big difference too. it felt kind of dim, and the bathroom had an awkward number of mirrors. Noise from the extractor outside was bothersome during the night, and I had to contend with low water pressure when washing up.

Our stay here was really enjoyable, as it was within easy reach of Godinton House and Hothfield Heathlands Nature Reserve, making our weekend exploration delightful. Even though the check-in service was a bit slow, the staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed right away.

Had a pleasant stay, the staff was very welcoming and attentive, especially Holly at the reception. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, although the single glazing meant some road noise. The breakfast was decent, offering a good variety.

It was just a good match for a city holiday in Ashford (Kent) with incredible value for money. The food and drink there were quite nice too. Make sure to check if your room is ready before the official check-in time.

The room was pretty comfortable and clean, which was a relief. The variety of pillows was nice too. No stairs to navigate was a bonus, especially after a long day. The downfalls? Some things felt a bit worn out, but nothing that ruined my stay. Just a decent space for a night before heading off to the Eurotunnel.
